This Fall afforded me the opportunity to be so creative with flowers. Whether it was succulents, curly willow adorned with orchids or beautiful and bold Autumn colors, this season was such a joy to design. What a wonderful family you have! It was such a joy to work with them to help make your wedding unforgettable. And the venue could not be any more special. The impressive old oak trees, private lake, manicured gardens and a perfect September sunset made your wedding simply breathtaking. Country charm and sophisticated elegance collided. Summer 2009
This being one of my busiest summers since the start of my business, I had many opportunities to work with amazing brides to make their wedding day spectacular. Summer may bring the heat but it also brings the chance to spotlight the seasons’ incredible and colorful blooms. Out are the pastel colors of Spring as the vibrant blooms of Summer come into season. Each wedding was remarkable in its own way…amazing locations, creative personal touches and, of course, beautiful flowers! What a beautiful mix of tradition and contemporary flair! The charm of the city was evident in every aspect of your wedding. From the grace of the old cathedral to the beauty of the city streets, your wedding captured the magic of San Francisco. And what a stunning bride! I just adored your vintage veil and feathered bouquet. The citrus colors of summer were captivating…bouquets of orange dahlias, coral roses, pink hydrangeas and yellow crespedia. I am so glad that I was able to bring your vision to life. Thank you for your trust. It was a joy to work with you.

If the gorgeous Truckee venue wasn’t enough, the little white chapel and the perfectly coordinated reception made your wedding stand out among all the rest. We worked long and hard making sure every last detail was just right. It was such a joy to see it all finally come together. Pretty pink peonies and green hydrangeas brought the white tented reception to life. Accented with moss and branches, your arrangements truly captured the essence of Tahoe. Everything about your wedding was memorable…from the amazing display of treats on your candy table to the custom box of wheat grass for your place cards and cake. With Spring weddings now behind me and summer weddings to come, it is the perfect time to reflect on all the wonderful weddings that I was blessed to be a part of this Spring. Every year I look forward to the gorgeous Spring blooms because it means that wedding season has begun. The bountiful ranunculas, peonies and tulips remind me how lucky I am to have a job that I am passionate about. Thank you to all of the brides that made this Spring fabulous! Fall 2008
I just love when the season changes. Summer pinks turn to Autumn reds, oranges and yellows. Texture becomes a key element of design. Fall branches and leaves turn ordinary arrangements into seasonal expressions. Dahlias and hydrangeas become a bride’s favorite flowers.
